"Once I was in Victoria, and I saw a very large house.
They told me it was a bank and that the white men place their
money there to be taken care of, and
that by and by they got it back with interest.
"We are Indians and we have no such bank; but when we
have plenty of money or blankets, we give them away to
other chiefs and people, and by and by they return them
with interest, and our hearts feel good. Our way of giving is our bank."

2010 a time for awaking us for Change

How precious is raw honesty, and how lacking it is in our superficially contrived daily lives and communities. Truth is sometimes painful to chew and even more difficult to swallow and digest but is so profoundly important if we are choosing a life of integrity.
The one thing we can count on in our superficial lives is that things will change; this body will grow old and dissolve back into the earth.
Until we connect with the pure subject - consciousness that unites us as all as one, beyond the egotistic expression of this object - body, life is merely a short dance which does not make a lot of sense.
Our short sojourn on this earth is very precious, a tremendous gift that we fritter away on confused paths of delusion and ignorance.
We only have this moment now in which we could choose to ask ourselves regularly;
Am I seeing the beauty of each day and taking full advantage of the possibility of manifesting and vibrating at my highest frequency or am I getting stuck in the insignificant details?
Am I questioning everything or am I following the herd.
Do I take this journey seriously, yet joyfully?
Do I realize the awesomeness of it all?
As we move towards the end of an era, the end of the Mayan Calendar; let us contemplate deeply, shed old outmoded and limiting beliefs, and dare to empty ourselves of already Knowing - To see with New Eyes and feel with an awakened heart.
Let us jump empty handed into the void together.
What have we got to lose!

Prayers For All - Peace on Earth - Enjoy Much Love Christine
"Imagine" by John Lennon"
Imagine there's no Heaven,
It's easy if you try
No hell below us ,
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people, Living for today
Imagine there's no countries, It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for and no religion too
Imagine all the people Living life in peace
You may say that I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us and the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions, I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger , a brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people, sharing all the world
You may say that I'm a dreamer , but I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us and the world will live as one
"Native American Prayer for Peace"
O Great Spirit of our Ancestors, I raise my pipe to you.To your messengers the four winds, and to Mother Earth who provides for your children.Give us the wisdom to teach our children to love, to respect, and to be kind to each other so that they may grow with peace in mind.Let us learn to share all the good things you provide for us on this Earth.
"Baha'i Prayer for Peace"
Be generous in prosperity, and thankful in adversity.
Be fair in thy judgment, and guarded in thy speech.
Be a lamp unto those who walk in darkness and a home to the stranger.
Be eyes to the blind, and a guiding light unto the feet of the erring.
Be a breath of life to the body of humankind,
dew to the soil of the human heart,
and a fruit upon the tree of humility.
"Buddhist Prayer for Peace"
May all beings everywhere plagued with sufferings
of body and mindquickly be freed from their illnesses.
May those frightened cease to be afraid,
and may those bound be free.
May the powerless find power, and may people think of befriending one another.
May those who find themselves in trackless, fearful wildernesses—the children,
the aged, the unprotected---be guarded by beneficent celestials,
and may they swiftly attain Buddha hood.
"Hindu Prayers for Peace"
Oh God, lead us from the unreal to the Real.Oh God, lead us from darkness to light.
Oh God, lead us from death to immortality. OM.
Let all of us protect each other together,
may all of us enjoy together, may all of us work together,
and let our study become radiant. Let there be no hatred between us.
OM Peace, Peace, Peace.
Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi Lord,
make me an instrument of your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love; for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
"Christian Prayer for Peace"
Blessed are the Peacemakers, for they shall be known as the Children of God.
But I say to you that hear, love your enemies,
do good to those who hate you,
bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.
To those who strike you on the cheek,
offer the other also,
and from those who take away your cloak,
do not withhold your coat as well.
Give to everyone who begs from you,
and of those who take away your goods, do not ask them again.
And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.
"Jewish Prayer for Peace"
Come let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
that we may walk the paths of the Most High.
And we shall beat our swords into ploughshares, and our spears into pruning hooks.
Nation shall not lift up sword against nation—neither shall they learn war any more.
And none shall be afraid, for the mouth of the Lord of Hosts has spoken.
"Muslim Prayer for Peace"
In the name of Allah, the beneficent, the merciful.
Praise be to the Lord of the Universe who has created us and made
us into tribes and nations, that we may know each other,
not that we may despise each other.
If the enemy incline towards peace, do thou also incline towards peace,
and trust in God, for the Lord is the one that heareth and knoweth all things.
And the servants of God, Most Gracious are those who walk on the Earth in humility,
and when we address them, we say "PEACE."
"Shinto Prayer for Peace"
Although the people living across the ocean surrounding us,
I believe, are all our brothers and sisters,
why are there constant troubles in this world?
Why do winds and waves rise in the ocean surrounding us?
I only earnestly wish that the wind will soon puff awayall the
clouds which are hanging over the tops of the mountains.
"Sikh Prayers for Peace"
God adjudges us according to our deeds,
not the coat that we wear:
that Truth is above everything,
but higher still is truthful living.
Know that we attaineth God when we loveth,
and only that victory endures in consequence of which no one is defeated.
"Sufi Prayer for Peace"
O Almighty Sun, whose light clears away all clouds,
We take refuge in you. Guide of all people, God of all deities,
Lord of all angels,We pray you to dispel the mists of illusion from the hearts of the nations
And lift their lives by your all-sufficient power,
Your ever shining light, your everlasting life,
Your heavenly joy and your perfect peace.
"Zoroastrian Prayer for Peace"
We pray to God to eradicate all the misery in the world:
that understanding triumph over ignorance, that generosity triumph over indifference,
that trust triumph over contempt, and that truth triumph over falsehood.
May all things be a source of peace to us.
And may thy peace itself, bestow peace on all,
and may that peace come to me also.
"Gandhi’s Prayer for Peace"
I offer you peace
I offer you Love
I offer you friendship
I see your beauty
I hear your need
I feel your feelings
My wisdom flows from the Highest Source
I salute that Source in You
Let us work together for Unity and Love
